Nexor Vault
Version: 2026-10-30
Effective date: October 2026
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. Overview
Nexor Vault uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) technologies to power certain features of its financial management and trust-administration platform. This AI Processing Disclosure (“Disclosure”) explains how we use AI to process your data, what information is involved, and what choices you have.
This Disclosure supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Disclosure have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, as applicable. Together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and the Regulation P Consumer Privacy Notice, this Disclosure forms part of the Agreement governing your use of the Service.
2. How We Use AI
Nexor Vault integrates AI-powered features to improve the quality and efficiency of the services we provide. These features include:
- Trust-Builder Document Generation. Our trust-builder tools use AI to generate trust instruments and related estate-planning documents based on templates and the information you provide, including beneficiary designations, co-trustee information, and property and asset details. AI-generated documents are not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
- Document Analysis and Organization. AI may be used to classify, summarize, or extract information from trust, estate, insurance, and property documents you upload to your vault, and from financial statements you forward to your Nexor Vault email address, in order to organize and display your information within the platform.
- Financial Data Insights. AI may process financial account data retrieved through Plaid—including account balances, transaction history, and holdings—to provide consolidated views, identify trust-funding opportunities, or support other platform features.
- Platform Assistance. AI may be used to assist with answering questions about the platform, guiding users through workflows, or providing contextual help within the application.
3. What Personal Information AI Processes
Depending on the features you use, AI processing may involve the following categories of personal information:
- Identity information: name, date of birth, email address, and phone number.
- Trust tax identifier: not processed. The tax identifier you may enter for a trust is never sent to our AI provider; our own systems add it to a drafted document after the draft is returned.
- Financial account data: account balances, transaction history, and holdings retrieved via Plaid.
- Trust and estate information: beneficiary designations, co-trustee details, property and insurance records, and documents you upload.
- User inputs: information, instructions, and selections you provide when using AI-powered features such as the trust-builder or document analysis tools.
- Usage data: interactions with AI-powered features, including queries, inputs, and outputs, for the purpose of service delivery and improvement.
4. Third-Party AI Providers
Nexor Vault uses third-party AI service providers to deliver AI-powered features. Currently, our AI processing is performed by:
| Provider | Role | Data Processed |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | AI model provider | User inputs, document content, and related data submitted to AI-powered features |
We require our AI service providers to process your data only as necessary to provide services to Nexor Vault, subject to contractual data processing agreements.
We will update this Disclosure if additional AI providers are integrated into the platform.
5. How AI-Processed Data Is Handled
- Purpose Limitation. Data sent to AI service providers is used to deliver the specific feature or service you have requested. We do not permit AI providers to use your data to train or improve their general-purpose models.
- Model Training. Nexor Vault does not permit AI providers to use user data for training or improving general-purpose AI models. Our contractual data processing agreements with each AI service provider expressly prohibit the use of your data for model training, fine-tuning, or any purpose other than providing the requested service on behalf of Nexor Vault.
- Data Retention by AI Providers. AI service providers may temporarily retain inputs and outputs for a limited period solely to provide the service, perform abuse monitoring, and comply with applicable law. Such retention is subject to, and consistent with, the terms of our contractual data processing agreements with each provider.
- Encryption and Security. Data transmitted to AI providers is encrypted in transit. Nexor Vault’s own security measures—including AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, and audit logging—apply to all data before and after AI processing.
6. Human Oversight and Limitations
AI-generated content, including trust instruments and document summaries, is produced by automated systems and may contain errors or omissions. Nexor Vault provides AI-powered features as tools to assist you and your professional advisors—they do not constitute legal, tax, investment, or accounting advice.
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated outputs for accuracy and legal sufficiency, and we strongly recommend that any AI-generated trust or estate document be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction before execution.
Where the Service connects you with a licensed attorney or CPA, that professional—not Nexor Vault or its AI systems—is responsible for any legal or tax advice given.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- AI-Powered Features. Certain AI-powered features are integral to core platform functionality, such as trust-builder document generation. These features cannot be individually disabled. However, you may choose not to use AI-powered features by not engaging those specific tools within the platform. Use of the Service does not require you to utilize every available feature.
- Access and Deletion. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information, including data processed by AI features, as described in our Privacy Policy. Requests to delete your data will be communicated to our AI service providers as required under our data processing agreements.
- State-Specific Rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding automated decision-making, profiling, or AI processing under applicable state consumer privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA). For more information about your rights under these laws, including how to submit a request, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
8. Automated Decision-Making
Nexor Vault does not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you without human involvement. AI-powered features generate suggestions, draft documents, and provide information to assist you and your professional advisors in making your own decisions.
9. Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this Disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in our AI practices, new features, or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes to this Disclosure by email and/or in-app notice with at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice before the changes take effect, consistent with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
